What are Presentations?
Presentations are the heart of Rise Vision. They contain the content that is shown on a Display.
A Presentation is an HTML page made up of various content types such as Images, Videos, Text, Web pages, Financial Data, etc., as well as information from Google Calendar, Google Spreadsheets, RSS Feeds and much more.
You can create multiple Presentations containing different mixes of content to meet your communication goals and audience needs. For example, you can create Presentations for specific times of day, e.g., mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, or for specific locations. And you can create Presentations that show content full screen or in separate zones on the screen to enable you to show different types of content at the same time.
Presentations use Placeholders to organize and control the layout of content on the screen. A Placeholder is a container for the type of content you want to add. It has properties separate from both the Presentation and the content type it contains. You can customize and control how and when the content shows as part of the Presentation. In the Full Screen example below, one Placeholder is used to contain full screen images. And, in the 4 Content Zones example also below, four Placeholders are used to show four different types of content on the Display at the same time. In this case the four Placeholders are the same size creating a quadrant effect, but Placeholders can be any size you want, e.g., you could have one as the banner across the top of the Display and two in the center and another banner across the bottom. The number of Placeholders you use and the way you configure them is up to you.

How do I access Presentations?
After logging into Rise Vision, you can access Presentations in the Presentations section of the landing page, or by clicking Presentations in the navigation menu.
How do I create a Presentation?
You can create a Presentation one of two ways; by customizing a Presentation template or by starting with a blank Presentation.
Templates are pre-built Presentations that you can customize to your liking. There are both Free Templates and Premium Templates available. You can also make your own Templates and share them with your Company (or Sub-Companies) by saving a Presentation as a Template.
How do I edit a Presentation?
You edit a Presentation in the Presentation Editor.
How do I access the Presentation Editor?
For a new Presentation, the Presentation Editor will open when you click Add Presentation +.
For an existing Presentation, the Presentation Editor will open when you click on the name of the existing Presentation you want to edit.
To view a list of the existing Presentations in your Company, click Presentations in the navigation menu. Then click the name of a Presentation you want to view or edit to open it in the Presentation Editor.
