You can update your Media Player to the latest version of Rise Player following the same steps you would to install Rise Player on a new media player. You can find instructions from the link below appropriate for your operating system. There is no charge to upgrade your player version.
Please note that legacy versions of Rise Player do not auto upgrade.

What are the benefits of updating?
New versions of Rise Player are continuously being released. On average, you can expect 2-4 updates per month. These updates include important bug fixes and releases that enable new features for Rise Player.
Rise Player and Rise Player Professional will auto upgrade to the latest version as they are released. As long as the network requirements for Rise Player are satisfied, you should not have to manually update Rise Player again. Rise Player will automatically update as new versions are released.
The latest version of Rise Player is published at, http://install-versions.risevision.com/latest-version.
Go to https://displays.risevision.com and select the Display you want to check. The Display's Settings will be presented where you can find the Player Version.
The version of Rise Player will include a release date. In this example, this Display is running a version of Rise Player that was released on March 29th, 2017.
If your Player version does not follow the format of “Rise Player Electron YYYY.MM.DD.XX.XX” you should upgrade to the latest version as soon as possible.
