This article explains why a Rise Ticker product may be showing the error message “Incorrect_Type”, and how to fix that problem.
The Incorrect_Type error message appears when quote chains and individual stocks are mixed on the same financial playlist.
This can be resolved by accessing your Ticker playlist on ticker.risedisplay.com. Select and review any financial playlists that you have, if you find any playlists that mix a quote chain with individual stocks, remove the quote chain and add it to it’s own financial playlist.
In this example, I have a financial playlist set up to show a quote chain, the S&P 100 (0#.OEX) as well as an individual stock. When displaying on a Ticker, S&P 100 would show as Invalid_Type, while the individual stock would appear normally. Click the trashcan next to the quote chain to delete it from the playlist, then click back to save.
