Storage makes it easy to manage your files and folders. You can rename them, download them to a computer, copy a URL link, duplicate and move them between folders and, when don’t need them anymore, move them to Trash.
The Storage toolbar contains icons for all the options available for managing your files and folders. NOTE: The toolbar is greyed out until you select a file or folder, see example below.
The toolbar is activated by selecting a file or folder, see example below.
Move files or folders from one folder to another
The Move option allows you to move a file or folder from one folder to another. This makes it easier to group assets and keep them organized.
- Click to select the file or folder you want to move.
- Click the Move icon.
- A Warning message will appear advising you that moving the selected file or folder will break all links with existing Presentations. That means that if the file or files inside the folder you are trying to move is currently being used in a Presentation, moving it will break those links and the content will not display as part of the Presentation. After you move a file or folder, you will need to manually update the links to that file or folder in the Presentation editor to point to the location where you moved the file/folder. To proceed with the move, click Okay.
- In the Select Destination dialog, select the folder you want to move the selected file/folder to. To move the selection to a subfolder, double click on the parent folder to expand it. You can select an existing folder, or you can click Create Folder to create a new folder.
- You will see a "Moving" message while the selection is being moved to the selected folder.
