A Claim ID is a 12 character code that is unique to your Rise Vision Company. When installing Rise Player on a Media Player, you can choose to input your Company’s Claim ID and a Display Name instead of a Display ID. This will create a new Display in your Company without having to log into your Rise Vision account.
Example of use:
My team is installing 40 Displays across campus. Instead of creating all Displays individually on displays.risevision.com, I include in the setup instructions our company’s Claim ID, and the Display Name for each Media Player being installed at each location. When a Display is brought online, and Rise Player is launched, it is added to my Displays list at displays.risevision.com.
How to find a Claim ID
A Claim ID is located in your Company Settings.
- After signing into risevision.com, click your profile icon in the top right.
- Click Company Settings.
- Your Claim ID is located at the bottom of the window.
How to use a Claim ID
A Claim ID can only be used when installing Rise Player.
- After launching the Rise Player installer, click use Claim ID.
- Type in your 12 character Claim ID, and a Display name, then click Continue to continue with installation.
How to reset a Claim ID
A Claim ID is a unique, private identifier that should only be shared with trusted individuals. If you believe your Claim ID has been compromised, or you would just like to generate a new Claim ID after completing a large install project, follow the steps above in How to find a Claim ID, at step 3 click Reset next to Claim ID.
