How to Use Rise Vision Player in a Web Browser

Learn how to run Rise Vision Player directly in a web browser—ideal for quick setups or devices where installing software isn't feasible.

Requirements

  • A device with a modern web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge)
  • A Rise Vision account
  • An available display license

Instructions

  1. Open your preferred web browser on the device you want to use.
  2. Navigate to: https://widgets.risevision.com/viewer/?type=webplayer
  3. Take note of the Activation Code shown
  4. In another browser window, log in to your Rise Vision account and add a new Display
    1. Go to Displays > Add Display.
    2. Enter a name for your display
    3. Enter the Activation Code
    4. Select the Schedule
    5. Click Save to complete activation.
  5. Set the browser to full-screen mode for optimal display.

Behavior Notes

  • The web player cannot control device hardware functions like power on/off.
  • Ensure the browser remains open and the device stays powered to maintain display functionality.
  • A stable internet connection is required for content updates and playback.
