You can use a wide range of devices with Rise Vision. When choosing a device to use, consider the type of content you want to put up on your screens.
Dedicated media players for video and animation
For video and animations, you need a dedicated media player with the Rise Vision Software installed. You can save time by getting our recommended media player, or install Rise Vision Player yourself on a comparable device.
For 4K resolution, you need an i3 media player or better. You can purchase a preconfigured i3 media player here.
For simple content
For simpler content like static images and text, you can use a wide range of devices like the Raspberry Pi 4, the Minix NEO T5, or any device that can show a web browser in full screen:
- Install on Pi 4
- Install on Android
- Use with Airtame
- Use with Zoom Rooms
- Use with ViVi
- Use with ScreenBeam
- Use with Mersive
- Use any other device
What screen should I use?
For the best viewing experience with our templates, use a screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio. All the popular brands typically offer TVs in HD (1920x1080) or 4K (3840x2160) which are ideal for digital signage. Support for other aspect ratios is limited.
If you want to use multiple screens or a video wall, you need a Windows media player to run Rise Vision Player. Multiple displays are not supported on any other operating system. You can find out more about the configuration here: How can I use multiple displays?
