If you have an Enterprise or Unlimited license, you can streamline content reuse across multiple locations by saving a presentation as a template. Shared templates are accessible to all users within the parent company and its sub-companies.
Requirements
- An Enterprise or Unlimited license
- An existing presentation you want to share as a template
Save a presentation as a template
- Click Presentations.
- Choose the presentation you want to turn into a template.
- Click the ellipsis icon.
- Click Save Presentation as a Template.
- Check the box for Yes.
Use a shared template
- Click Presentations.
- Click Add Presentation.
- On the left side of the template gallery, click the Shared Templates toggle.
- Click Add next to the template you want to use.
Edit your copy of the template
- After adding the template, a new copy is created just for you.
- Make any changes you need; your edits won’t affect the original template.
- If your account supports branding, your branding is applied automatically.
Update the original template
- Find the original presentation used to create the template.
- Make your changes to that presentation.
- Publish your changes to update the template.
- Any new copies made from the template will include the updated content.
Behavior Notes
- If the presentation was created from a blank template, click Settings to show the Save as template option
- Changes to a copied template don’t affect the original.
- Changes to the original template only apply to future copies, not past ones.
- Branding is applied automatically when supported.
