Schools and school districts can assign teachers or other staff to manage specific displays. Users who have assigned displays can manage their content from a simple interface where they don’t have to worry about accidentally changing someone else’s content or display.
To assign a display to someone, you first need to assign them the “Teacher” user role.

Step 1: Create a user and assign the Teacher role
Log in at risevision.com. Click on your username on the top-right corner of the screen and choose “Company Users” from the menu.
Click on “Add User” and fill in the required fields for the user as follows:
- Username must be an email address. It’s recommended to use a school email. It must be unique.
- It’s recommended to use the user’s real first and last name if possible.
- Work Email is used in the event a user reaches out to support. It can be the same as the username, but otherwise must be unique.
- Under roles, select only “Teacher”.
Click “Save” when you’re done. The user will receive an email with instructions on logging in and setting a password.
Step 2: Create a schedule and assign it to the user
Click on “Schedules” in the top menu, and then on “Add Schedule” to create a new schedule. You can name the schedule by clicking on the pencil icon.
Click on the ellipsis and then on “Assign Users”. You can choose any number of users who are assigned the Teacher role, and then click on the “Assign Users” button to confirm.
Set the display distribution for the schedule by clicking on it. To have a display follow this schedule, click on it in this list and click “Apply”.
Once you’re done configuring the schedule, click “Save”.

Now that your users are assigned to displays, they will receive an email confirming their displays are ready and providing instructions on next steps.
Users who are assigned the teacher role can only see presentations they have created in the Presentations list, and can only see and edit schedules that they have been assigned. They cannot make any changes to the account’s configuration.
