Honestly, IMO rather superficial article. And I am sorry to say that. Apparently more people are getting 4K TVs, so i5 NUC to go with that... but what about the Internet connection? Not a single word. Go ahead and spend all that money on fancy setup just to learn that 4K videos does not stream well on a spotty WiFi.

Just to add about videos. Even if you have 1080p display, go ahead and stream 720p videos instead. Sure does not look as sharp, but this is signage we are talking and sacrifices for a better performance can and should be made. Nobody (targeted audience) will really notice or care about the difference all that much; even so for 4K displays. With that said, in certain situations such as important presentations, you must shine.

Also I am not sure what really was the goal of this article... to help users figure out the best options for them or to promote your services/products. While I have nothing to add about Rise Vision services, I believe whoever needs help mush go ahead and reach out for professionals. What really bothers me is the selection and recommendations for NUC players. For just any conventional digital signage display you would be fine with Celeron or Pentium NUCs. We run complex 3-display setup (1080p X 3)  presentation on i3 and I almost feel it was an overkill anyway. But I agree, if the budget allows, go ahead and get the best gear you can.

I am sorry I did not mean to be rude, I like Rise Vision I appreciate what they do. It was just my perspective on some certain points.

Darius, this is seriously awesome feedback.

Love this (not rude at all ... Would love any and all feedback about anything we're writing about because it would greatly help to improve what we're doing).

Was planning to make some revisions and additions, so the specifics you list are super helpful.

The point about videos is spot on, and the article should include something like, "Your audience might not even notice, especially since the average human attention span is just eight seconds."

I'll be sure to send word when the revisions are included, and would love your feedback upon completion!

Also, what topics or themes do you think that you think are essential reading for us to write about?

Would love to hear what you think that those are (know you're probably super busy, but you can send them to nick.rimsa@risevision.com or just throw them here, too).

    Nick,

I guess would be nice to hear about different storage options that work with Rise Vision, different display panels (not specific models, but technologies: monitors, regular and signage TVs etc.), Rise Vision plans. Just to keep things interesting and informative push you system to the limits and let us know about your results. Would be nice to know what RV is up to, learn about your upcoming plans and new products/services in advance. I've seen quite few surprising changes in RV, but there was no word about them until they actually happened. And I am here pretty much all the time.

Added your suggestions to my list!

If it's alright, I'd love to send word with what we're writing about because your feedback is so valuable (if this isn't a pain in the neck, of course).

We're in the process of writing an article to help with presentation creation basics.

The overarching theme is, "Keep your messages simple."

If you were to give one piece of advice to someone beginning to make presentations, what would it be?
