It is worth nothing that with the Chromebox you will have zero control over your display's resolution: it will default to whatever the native HD setting is, usually 1360x768 (WXGA) or 1920x1080 (Full HD).

While the Chromebox will default, the resolution can be set. It might not be as convenient as the other display solutions.

How do you set the resolution on the Chromebox once it is in Kiosk Mode?

    Samuel,

You can't, at least not in a way that I am aware of. I'm pretty sure you need to wipe it to get it out of Kiosk, adjust the resolution, and then set it up again in Kiosk.

Is anyone aware of a way to change the resolution while in Kiosk mode?

    Thanks!

Both of my displays are using Chromeboxes. One display is 1360 x 768 and the other is 1920 x 1080. Since the 1360 was my first setup, everything looks great on it. On the new display, the 1920, my presentation is too small. Can I change the resolution on the 1920 chrome box, or will I have to create a new presentation for it?

    Bill,

I'm pretty sure you'll need to wipe it if it is in Kiosk mode to reset the resolution. You can always create a new Presentation at the 1920 x 1080 resolution, but it may be easier to wipe the box and rebuild it, depending on the complexity of the Presenation.

    Thanks!

Good stuff but my client doesn't get any choices for resolutions in the advanced setting page. My pres. is set up 1920x1080 and the display setting shows 1360x768 Hmmmm.

What display (model) is that? Is it capable of 1080p resolution?

    Jim,

In cases like these, the issue is typically the monitor itself not being capable of that resolution, or sometimes the correct driver needs to be installed on the computer to achieve that resolution.
