Eric, we need more info, preview link... something to help us help you.

The widget works, that we know. Check again all the steps: insert placeholder>insert widget>save>publish. make sure placeholder is not blocked by another placeholder with higher Z-ordering value.

    Thanks Eric!

This is a tough one. I'm not sure what it is about this Presentation, but there is something blocking that Widget from showing.  I created a copy of your Presentation, deleted that DateTime Placeholder, added it again, added the Time & Date Widget again and voila, there it is.

Can you try deleting and readding it and letting me know if that makes it show for you?

    Thanks!

I'm sure it's something I'm doing wrong.  Here is the preview link:

Would you be able to add day of the week option for date and time widget? I want to be able to display 'Monday, July 10, 2017' to an events presentation I have. Seems like this format should be an option.

While this is probably not suggested.. I can tell you this works (assuming you are showing only date and no time)

    1. Setup your Presentation
    2. Add the Time / Date Widget (showing date and NO time)
    3. Go to the HTML tab
    4. Look under "placeholders", find "items", and find the one that has "name": "Time and Date Widget"
    5. Under "additionalParams" you will see "dateFormat"
    6. Change that to read "dddd, MMMM DD, YYYY"

This works because they are using moment.js and it's a valid format. the "dddd" means "spell out the day".
Additional reading on valid moment.js formats: https://momentjs.com/docs/#/displaying/

Beyond this, you could of course write up your own HTML widget to do this for you as well, but that is a bit more work ;)

But also maybe they will add it as an option too, not a bad idea!

Here's the above on my screen:

Granted, it would also work with the time, but looks a little odd IMO
