    William,

We don't have any documentation or an API on how to do this on other OS' available at this time, but  if and when we do introduce it, we will be sure to let the community know.

    Thanks!

OK i know there is no api on this but what i need is some info on it. So far i can get to where i can hit update on the screenshot on the display. What i need is what is being sent to the display when i click update so that i can send the screenshot back. If i can get to the point of responding to the request, i can possibly get android working with screenshots. :) Thanks for the help. :)

    Thanks Robb

I was also wondering how the display area knows that the device is not supported. If i can trick the display area to allow my app to be requested for a screenshot then i can reverse engineer the rest. I didnt know what the parameters in the url need to be to allow for it to be supported. If i knew that then i can work on the rest.

    Thanks

Can a developer at least explain how the screenshot function works? I have been stuck looking at this and need a general run down of what is going on. I know that the display needs to be either the Linux player or Windows Player for you to be able to click update so that a request is sent to the display for the screenshot. Now my question is what request is that and how is it handled? Im trying to figure it out so that i dont get flooded with emails asking for the feature on my app. I have been asked 10 times already within 3 days.
