    Hi!

I am reply here to let you know we've opened up a ticket for you so we can look into the issues you are seeing. We should continue through the ticket so we can track this down  and get your displays running smoothly!

No, we do not get this. Pretty much all has been smooth for us for a very long time now. The only problem we get now is failing video signal during the nightly reboot with Intel Sticks. But this has nothing to do with RV.

Yes!  we've been running rise vision for 2 years and lately, everything about it has me looking at other vendors for our signage needs.  Example, this morning, I can log in (which I COULD NOT DO YESTERDAY), I can load storage, but CAN NOT load my presentation.  All I get is a blank screen.  It's one issue after another lately.  I'm over it.  It went from being a useful tool, to a constant unreliable liability.  Every day its another issue with these folks.  Pretty frustrated at this point and definately looking for another product, THAT IS RELIABLE.

    Hi Getbte!

I am sorry our software has caused these issues. Both of these bugs you encountered are actually related but they both have been fixed now! I see that you can now get into the classic editor and also log in. Please let us know over at support if you have any other issues and we'd love to help out! You can reach us at support@risevision.com

Hi we run over 40 digital display instances all on NUC's. We too are sick of the unreliability and are starting to look for an alternative. We have a dashboard to check all displays at once and right now half (21) of them are not running. Some are asking to install updates and a couple I know have a network issues but this is ridiculous. Generally all round the biggest IT helpdesk issue we field is resolving risevision issues. Its time to find an alternative. FYI risevision does not cache unless you have a paid service but we arnt about to fork out $400 per month just to get some caching. It used to be so much better!

We run mostly Win 10Pro NUCs too. But I have not noticed the reliability issues. What OS are you using? If it is Win 10 like in our case, then you have to be a bit pro-active when it comes to Win updates. I do not thing RV can override that, as Microsoft took a lot of liberty with this OS to govern over your PCs. I recommend taking time once a month to remote in and update them manually, before the pop-up start showing up. And curb the settings to minimize Win10 intrusions into your desktop with their pesky notifications. RV do cache, though. I am having a hard time sometimes clearing it when in testing mode. Problem is they do not play from the cache after a restart as it is their 'premium' service. Which sucks big time and is so wrong on their side. Seem they do not understand this is the MUST for any ds platform. I guess it is not that important of an issue with the schools, which seems to be their primary focus today. Try Wall Display. It really is a very robust ds platform. There were things I liked and things I disliked about them, but I decided to stick with RV for now. Either way, there is no free lunch no more.

    Hi Martin!

I've created a ticket to investigate the unreliability issues that you're seeing with our platform. You'll be hearing from me shortly!
