    Rise Vision has not released a supported player for Chrome OS for a very long time; therefore, the RV app you have installed must be of a quite old release and cannot support some of the newer features. Now that 'not paid for' message on A Chromebox is something I have not seen before. Are you absolutely sure it is related to Rise Vision and not some other Chrome App or service (management license for example)? Can you capture the screen with that message and also provide the RV Player version #.

    Oh yeah, It's the Youtube app and the weather app. I guess it wouldn't be Rise Vision.

    I have to see if one of the guys can help me. I don't know how to remote into it to get a screen shot. Maybe I could just take a picture with my phone. Ha! I think the news one does it too. so it's something with those I suppose. It is fixed when I restart the player so it's not that big of a deal. I was just curious. :)

    I was also gonna say take a picture of the screen ))) But before doing that see this conversation: https://help.risevision.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360000036283-Pro-version-trial Over there I explained how to get into your Rise Vision Store Account and unsubscribe from all the paid services and apps. After that, hopefully, all those messages will just go away.

    If I unsubscribe/cancel them, then they for sure won't work. :) We pay to use these apps. They just sometimes say something about our balance not being paid and fade out. I'll get a shot of it next time! :) I can't remember the wording.

    Sure do not cancel if they are still in use ))) Maybe so problems with the payment method? They should not be pushing the messages to the displays, though. But this is old and supported app... you might be out of luck. I would say contact RV support directly and see what they can do for you as a paying customer.

    Okay, sounds good. Thanks. I would think if it wasn't paid fine, but it was paid for and is active. It just started doing this recently I noticed. Like this week. It will be on there in the morning. I restart the player and it's fine the rest of the day. It's odd. :) Thanks for your help!

    Okay, I took a picture this morning anyway just to share. This time it was only the weather that did it. I am going to restart the player though here and I am sure it will be fine again. Before the YouTube was doing it too, but it didn't this time. :)

    So I restarted the player, and it's fine again now. Just odd. :) Not a big deal. It's so fast & simple to just restart the player in the mornings when I get here.

    Good that it does not bother you, but try to get Rise Vision and/or Widget creators to look into this. In my opinion, as a paid customer you should not be going through this, and no digital signage should be giving you that BS. If this is hardware/software incompatibility issue, then there are inexpensive alternatives to Chromeboxes. Also, and RV does not like me saying that and I do not like doing this to them, but if this cannot be resolved with paid widgets, then you can look into other free alternatives that are available to you thru custom HTML.
