I have a raspberry pi 3 which keeps freezing after a few hours (3-4). If I run a remote ssh connection and keep top running it appears it runs out of memory and uses 100% of the available swap memory.
From what I can see once the SSH connection drops a few "installer" commands tops the most memory at about 10% but cannot see anything higher. The most CPU usage is "kswapd0" which I believe deals with the swap, however the load averages seem rather high.
This is a vanilla install of raspbian stretch & rise vision (2018.01.09.20.38). After a lengthy period of time I have noticed that the RPi eventually becomes responsive and runs again. The schedule on rise vision is just a web page flicking through JPG pictures.
I have noticed while monitoring top that "installer" sometimes peaks 110%+ CPU.
