I would like to recommend researching (and implementing) an update method that does not interrupt the on screen display. For example, EVERY display is a loop. Instead of making the entire presentation change...which isn't very professional for high end companies, having it (the software) see if anything changed since the last time through and implementing the change on the next loop. If it's a change you need now, you can force it to start over by restarting the player...which if you are watching, is essentially what happens anyway.
Something a little less disruptive would be great. We have some customers that change a lot of content weekly. We don't want to assign someone to make the changes at 2am so nobody will see the screen go white over and over and over...which is what happens if you need to make several content changes at the same time.
