Don, we do that. I found that Google Slides works the best for this purpose. They are easy to use just about to anyone familiar with basic office software and can be accessed from anywhere with the Internet connection and from any device with a browser. However Rise Vision does not have a widget for Google Slides, so some basic HTML knowledge is necessary to make it work. But nothing too hard. Let me know if you need any further assistance with that.

Example (Left-Top is Google Slides): http://preview.risevision.com/?type=presentation&id=62b2f4c6-8a9b-4730-8ceb-c2f5c356bbf9

    Hi there Don!

Darius is right on the money, in fact this is the same way a great many people are using Rise Vision :)

You can indeed use Google Slides, but you may run into some issues with getting embedded content running just right, however it certainly can be done.

My recommendation instead would be to go with Rise Storage which is an unlimited repository for all your images and videos, so you can play everything from there. It is also built right into Rise Vision's Editor, so selecting images and videos will be a snap.

    I hope that helps!

Thanks I’m on with trying both options and my Raspberry Pi arrived today. Looks like risevision is just the job for my needs (and very scalable). Cheers, Don

Robb, why in the world RV went with Raspberry Pi instead of Android?

    Hi Darius,

We added compatibility for Pi because its architecture is the same as Linux. And since we already had a Linux Player, the effort to add Pi was relatively low.

Android is more complex and will require substantially more effort. Having said that, we have discussed supporting Android and will continue to adjust priorities as we work through our current backlog and receive user feedback.

    Hope that helps. Thanks!
