    Hi Rons Original!

Can you help answer a few questions about your issue? What version of Windows 10 do you have ,32 or 64bit? Can you get me a picture of the blue screen you are seeing?

The first thing I would recommend is to re-run the Rise Vision installer on this device. It will keep your display ID so you should just have to run he installer on this page. This is in case the install got corrupt in any way.

    Hi Tyler,

I have the 64bit version of Windows 10. Also, I did re-run the installer and the same problem has occurred. Below is a screenshot of what I am seeing.

Is this color the part of the presentation (has it been used as a background color somewhere)? Do the Windows load properly at all and RV App Start?

Unlike Tyler suggested, I recommend uninstalling RV App and completely deleting 'rvplayer' folder from the machine. I had a similar problem (the screen was not blue, it was just black). Then install a fresh copy of the recent RV App. That did the trick for me.

    Hi Darius,

To answer your questions, this color is not part of a presentation. Windows starts up just fine and the RV player starts up as well. It starts up but rather than playing the first presentation, it just goes directly to this blue screen. I don't even get the grey loading screen before hand.

I have followed your suggestion of completely uninstalling and reinstalling and I'm still having the same issue.

    Thanks,
    Samantha

Samantha, have you also deleted 'rvplayer' folder from C:\Users\YOURUSER\AppData\Local\... before installing a fresh copy of the RV Player?

    Hi Samantha,

I agree with Darius here, could you please try deleting the `rvplayer` folder and then reinstall Rise Player? Please let us know if you are still seeing an issue after that.

    Thanks!

Was there a successful resolution to this problem? I am seeing what seems to be the exact same problem myself now.

Hi Everyone... we have also started having the same problem on some of our displays...going on for more than 2 weeks now.  Any solution?.

I have also noticed a bunch of "electron.exe" processes running. more than 8 of them at a time.  Is that normal?.  I'm sure it wasnt like that before.

    Thanks

    Hi there everyone!

Our apologies for missing your original responses. If you are still seeing this issue, can you email support@risevision.com with the Display ID's that are still having this issue so we can take a look? Your Display ID can be found here:

Joseph, seeing multiple instances of the electon.exe is normal, as different parts of the Rise Vision Player are running under that same electron.exe banner. Thanks!

Hi Everyone..I was able to resolve the blank screen/blue screen problem by enabling P2P from the firewall.  Let me know if others find this useful. Good Luck.

    Thanks.
