    Hi there,

We've never tested a Pi running Ubuntu Mate, only Jessie.  You can read more about our supported OS' here: https://help.risevision.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001817143-Choose-a-Media-Player

I'm not sure what the issue here may be. Any chance you can try switching over to Jessie to see if that improves performance?

The RPI is in a remote location 700 km away from me, so switching to Jessie is not an option ;-)

I have more units on same location, running same version of Ubuntu Mate, but with the previous version of Risevision. That's why I asked if downgrade is possible. When I run the install script, it will download the newest player. Is there anyway to avoid that ? Can I copy the rvplayer directory from one of the other units, running the previous version ?

Unfortunately downgrading isn't an option, but copying that folder should work, just confirm that all the start / stop links are going to the right places :)

Let me know if that works!
