Dawn, there is no widget for Google Slides at this moment. I know Rise Vision is working on one now, but to my understanding, it will be a premium widget. Still, some custom HTML code takes care of that for us. The way I go about it is making a simple webpage with Google Slides iframe code in it. Then in Rise Vision I use the Web page Widget to show that page with Google Slides. This way I get an option to control refresh rate. Works like a charm.

Thanks for the information Darius. So you create a web page, enter the iframe embed code of Slides, and then put the URL of the web page you made into an HTML widget?

into the Web Page Widget! Reason - refresh control and positioning. Let me explain positioning. By default, Google will add black borders (cannot be removed) all around the slides and their copyright at the bottom. Recently after some update, it became quite tricky to hide that copyright part. There are easier ways, but I like things done properly. For that reason, I make slightly wider and taller slides and later manipulate positioning to hide black borders and copyright in order to get a clean look of the GS in my presentations. Again, there are a few ways to go about it.

Dawn, I stumbled on these directions (below) last year, while setting up a new digital sign for the middle school where I teach. Now, our secretary and administrators just edit the Google Slide, and the content appears, full screen, on the display.  Here's the link: https://community.risevision.com/rise_vision_inc/topics/using-google-slides-in-rv-the-quick-and-easy-way

Feel free to email me at david@dpk242.com; I'd be glad to help another school.
