Chromebox error "Kiosk application could not be downloaded"

    The problem that I described in my previous post was using the Chrome Web Store app ID described in the Help guide of "mfpgpdablffhbfofnhlpgmokokbahooi" . I now tried using the beta app ID of "lomneokodaoflgnkpkpdcgjlnibbgbai", and that works.

    Any thoughts on these two app IDs and whey the first one failed for me?

    Hello Charles,

    We've had a recent misunderstanding with Google regarding app branches and updates - this is something we're looking into resolving ASAP, but as it requires contact with Google it's taking some time.

    "mfpgpdablffhbfofnhlpgmokokbahooi" should currently be working without issues, but if you do run into another problem please let us know.

    Thanks. I will try the normal app again next week. I prefer to not use the beta app for our normal environment, if possible.

    I just wanted to check in here - were you able to switch over to the normal app branch for your ChromeOS devices?
