I am a new user and am trying to display a presentation on a managed Chromebox device. I have been using the Chromebox with a competitive app for several months, so I am generally available with managed Chrome devices and kiosk mode. I am not able to have the Chromebox auto-launch the Rise Vision app. When the Chromebox starts, a message "Kiosk application could not be downloaded" appears in the bottom left of the login screen, and the Rise Vision app is not automatically started. Any thoughts on this problem? Here are the details:
-I have a 2017 Chromebox (AOPEN Model ME4100). I have a Google kiosk license for the device.
-I followed the directions at https://help.risevision.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001252066-Install-Rise-Player-on-Chrome-OS. I believe that the organization unit is correctly configured, and I have placed the Chromebox into the organization unit.
-I have googled for an answer, but nothing obvious pops up.
-I looked at the logs for the Chromebox, and I noticed an entry as follows--
[2433:2433:1011/115931.956345:ERROR:external_cache_impl.cc(213)] ExternalCacheImpl failed to download extension mfpgpdablffhbfofnhlpgmokokbahooi, error 2
Any thoughts are welcome.
