Not the best or easiest way. The recommended way for slideshows is to use the Image Widget (RV Storage folder option). Another good way is to pull images from your social media sites using https://snapwidget.com/login (of course if it is applicable in your situation). Also, I find WOW Slider a great tool when you want a more custom looking slideshow.

I realize Google Drive isn't the easiest or best way, that's just where our photos are currently stored.  The RV storage requires a subscription, doesn't it?  Using WOW Slider looks promising, how would I get that to display a slideshow through RV?

You are right, the RV Storage requires a paid subscription, but honestly if you want your signage done the easy way you gonna have to pay them anyway because all of the main RV Apps also require the paid subscription. Those days of free and robust RV are gone ))). The only free tool you still have left that can replace those paid apps is the HTML Widget and it requires at least basic HTML/CSS/JS skills. But in order to use photos stored in Google Drive or WOW Slider will also require a bit of HTMLing.

Then the answer is you need WOW Slider, some online FTP storage for the files (not Google Drive because it ain't that), you gonna have to put a basic webpage and insert the WOW Slider code in it (I assume the HTML Widget could be used for that, but I never did that way). I  just build a basic web page, store it on my FTP server along with the other files and pull it to RV using the Web page widget.
