I can not seem to get our display to show full screen in portrait mode. I set it up and the display says it 'can can't take the input resolution' (1080x1920). Here is how far I got and the equipment we have. - Thanks.
-Samsung Screen, DB43J (digital signage screen) can do portrait. 1080p resolution
-Intel NUC bought from RiseV store (NUC7i3BNK) HD Graphics 620, using an HDMI cable
I need to put the screen into portrait mode and use the entire screen at 1080x1920.
-I create an image (JPEG) in portrait at 1080x1920.
-I go into my presentations in RiseV and select at the cog icon, '1080x1920 portrait'.
- I go into properties of presentation and change to 1080X1920.
-I take the remote to my screen and change to portrait layout
-I then go into my graphics card on the Intel NUC and create a custom resolution to put out the screen via the HDMI cable. The custom resolution is 1080x1920.
-I select the custom resolution in Windows 10 and send video signal to screen. At that point, the screen goes blank, I get an error saying the screen can not take the resolution and then it goes back to what the screen can take. I do not get this. The screen is only 1080p and capable of doing portrait. Why can not I just reverse the screen resolution? I thought this would be a no brainer that a lot of places do.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
