    Paul, Darius,

Are you noticing this when you drag and drop Playlist items in a Placeholder? Or when you arrange Presentations in a Schedule?

The reason I ask is we have a bug for the items in a Schedule, but this is the first I have heard of this issue with items in a Presentation.

If you are indeed seeing this with a Presentation's playlist, can you shoot support@risevision.com an email with a link to that Presentation? That way I can create a copy of it and try for myself. If I can recreate, I'll get a bug logged.

    Thanks!

Robb, that's right! That also happens inside a placeholder with multiple items. However, it is not erratic. You have to move items in increments... one position at a time. If you want to jump few positions at a time then $h1t gets messed up... very annoying. But moving one position at a time works... imagine moving 25 positions )))) completely handicapped, but doable LOL Happy Friday all!

    Hello Gentlemen!

I was able to recreate this issue, so I have logged a bug. I will let you know as soon as this is corrected.

    Thanks!

    Thanks Robb!

One issue does remain, as Daruis said, moving a Playlist item several slots in a Placeholder doesn't work well, I can only move items (reliably) to currently onscreen slots.  Holding the item at the top or bottom of the screen & allowing the list to scroll, then dropping the item off, does not work.  A bit of a pain because new items always come in at the bottom of the list

    Paul, Robb

I have no more problems moving items up and down the list across the multiple slots, and I have very very long lists. It is snappy and precise now. Paul, I am using the Chrome browser. Perhaps you are still having problems in Edge or some other browser?

Robb, another insignificant, but very annoying problem for you. Whenever I try to change the name of a selected item by highlighting/selecting the entire name with my mouse (typically after I duplicated an item and went in to change its name), the pop-up window crashes/closes. The only way at this point to rename items is by clicking with the mouse at the end of a name and then deleting the name letter by letter by using the Backspace key.

It is clearly some code error of some sorts because initially, all works fine and I can select the entire name by mouse and DELETE it all at once, but after some period this problem reoccurs again. It looks like I need to close the Chrome browser completely and then restart it again to make this problem go away at least temporarily.

    Darius,

Any chance you can shoot me over a video of this issue in action? There is the known browser behavior of when you click and drag off the modal, it will close that modal, but I want to make sure this is not what you're referring to here.

I was previously able to recreate the issue you're referring to above, but as of this morning I can't, and I wanted to record a video of it in action for the Dev team.

If you could shoot that over, that would be great.

    Thanks!

    Hi Darius,

I was speaking to the team over here about this, and it was determined we aren't going to pursue correcting this.

The main reason for this is this action is handled by an external library, and we couldn't find a simple way to do that last time we checked. Another option considered was to not close the modals when clicking on the backdrop, but that was not a good option either, as functionality would suffer.

At this time, the best thing to do after checking out your example above, would be to release the mouse over the modal, then double click the input to select the text.

Robb, I figured you gonna say that as you do not really have control over the cause of this problem. It is fine, I can live with that ))) Also I did not realize this was MODAL.
