We have several Chrome Boxes setup with TV's around the business. We have a playlist made up of *.webm files which should be cached and then play locally.
We are seeing an issue lately where all the boxes are caching the content and can play it with no network connectivity once cached however when on the network there is constant traffic which looks to be always playing with live streaming across all the sites it can be up to 1TB a day and creates congestion on the networks at the sites.
This can be as small as 300kpbs or randomly spike to 10-20mbps often in a regular pattern.
What would cause this? we have ruled out storage being an issue on the devices. We can not see any specific settings that we could set to stop this occurring.
