On July 3rd, 2019, we made a change to Rise Vision Player to apply our new pricing for customers who signed up after June 24th, 2019.
After this change, users reported an issue wherein licensing was being enforced on all Displays, including Displays belonging to existing customers with subscriptions created before June 24th, 2019. This caused Displays that received the update to show a “Missing License” message until the issue was resolved.
We rolled back the update shortly after the issue was identified, and ensured that all affected players would be resolved automatically. All Displays should now be showing presentation content as intended. If you are still experiencing issues, please contact Support immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We can appreciate the impact of an issue like this on our customers. One of our promises to our customers is that we are always reliable, and we strive for a 99% uptime. We broke that promise and we are sincerely sorry. We are reviewing our internal processes to ensure this type of issue doesn’t happen again.
