    Hello Patrick,

Schedules are not currently able to be shared between multiple sub-companies - we have some tools in presentations that might help though. Could you elaborate on what you're doing? Perhaps I can provide a suggestion! :)

I have a user who manages content in the school cafeteria, which has its own sub-company. She wishes to display content that is also displayed in the student center, which is a sub-company run by our special events team.

    This was her actual request:

"we talked about making Monitor 3 (in the cafeteria) be linked to the UC Monitor feed (student center) to display ASU content that matches the UC. If you want to grant me access, I can add in Angelo Dining slides as we have them for events."

I could move that display into her sub-company, but then she would have to make sure she stays in sync with the other displays in the student center.

    Hope that helps.

    Hello Patrick,

You may be able to accomplish this using the scheduling built into placeholders. It's got to be set per place-holder, but when it is set and the presentation is shared as a template to sub-companies, the sub-company's presentation will inherit the scheduling.

There are a few caveats here. Each time the template is updated in the parent company, the sub-company will need to pull that template from their Shared Templates folder again. They also cannot inherit displays, though the option is present.

I've attached a picture below showing what I'm talking about. This option can be found in the placeholder properties.
