This is something I pointed out to before. It happened yesterday at the same time on two different displays in two, technically speaking, different locations, but I am sure somehow connected to the same 'Internet pipe.'
What you see in both exhibits (top/left) below is completely missing parts in two presentations and the desktop below. them. Basically there is a hole in them. Right next to them (bottom/right0 you can see what those presentations supposed to look like.
Both presentations are missing a background image (Image Widget) and Google Sheets. Both still have 'Image Slideshows' (a placeholder with a set of rotating individual images), an additional one image placeholder (Image Widget) and an empty placeholder with background color or a placeholder with Text Widget. ... It appears that Sheets had some problems updating and that directly affected the placeholders (with background images) bellow. Both presentations started properly, but at the very next sheets update in 15 min went to shi... what you see in the exhibits below. With that said I have to point out that sheets in both presentations used API key from Google, maybe even the same one (I did not check before removing them completely). Since that happened yesterday, I also added the same background image in the presentation settings as redundancy.
I've seen that happening before on of these displays before (as reported by a customer) and on our own internal display (it was Web Page Widget pointing to a custom HTML page with Google Slides ... API Key again?..). Or is it network problems?
But since both displays now are licensed, should not they have played Sheets from the cache? And certainly, presentations should not break down completely in this manner. Do not you think?
Has anyone else seen that?
