The option to publish content for free does not work!?

So this is what I learned ... evidently RV requires a license if the URL is pointing to a file from RV Storage. The same file from the other hosting place works just fine without a license. Also, the entire schedule gets wiped off the screen as soon as the content requiring a license is added. Additional confusion was caused by the occasional fail of RV Player to refresh after the changes were made and saved (I removed licensed content and saved the changes, but the player stuck with that white screen).

    Darius,

That is correct, if the URL you are pointing to is a file in Rise Storage, that will require a Display License. If the file is hosted at a 3rd party site, that is not Rise Storage, that will be covered under the free tier.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "entire schedule gets wiped off the screen as soon as the content requiring a license is added.". Can you clarify what you mean?

Robb, when I already have content in a schedule that does not require license playing on the unlicensed player, and I add a presentation that does require a licensed display, all the content goes away regardless if it is 'licensed' or not. It ain't the problem; although, I wish you worked a bit on the way you present those messages.
