Manage Sub-Companies

In Rise Vision, Sub‑Companies let you structure your account hierarchically—ideal for managing multiple locations, departments, or teams. Each Sub‑Company operates under a single Parent Company, maintaining its own assets (displays, presentations, schedules), while giving the Parent Company centralized control over content, user management, and licensing across its Sub‑Companies. 

Whether you’re overseeing a school district, franchise network, or large organization, Sub‑Companies make it easy to stay organized, secure, and scalable.

Create a Sub-Company

1. Log into Rise Vision
2. Click the Company name in the top left corner and select Add Sub-Company.
3. Enter the Sub-Company’s name, industry, and address.
4. Make sure the address is accurate—it's used for weather widgets in Presentations.
5. Click Save.

The Company name shown in the top left will change letting you know which Company you are in.  To return to your the Parent Company, click the Company name in the top left and then click the Switch button. 

Delete a Sub-Company

1. Log into Rise Vision
2. Click the Company name in the top left corner
3. Select the Sub-Company you want to delete from the list shown
4. Click Settings from navigation on the left
5. Click the three dots in the bottom right corner (next to the Cancel button)
6. Click Delete and complete the confirmation

Manage Company Hierarchy

To move a Company under a different Company, you first need to get the Authentication Key of the Company that you want to move. 

1. Get the Authentication Key
   1. Log into Rise Vision and switch to the Company you want to move
   2. In the left side panel choose Settings > Company Settings, then copy the Authentication Key.
2. Move Company
   1. Click the Company name in the top left and switch to the Company that will be the Parent Company of the Company you want to move (or log out and back in using the applicable credentials)
   2. In the left side panel choose Settings > Add Sub-Company.
   3. Click the three dots in the bottom right corner of the screen.
   4. Select Move a Company Under Your Company and paste the Authentication Key.
   5. Click Retrieve Company Details, confirm the company, then click Move Company.

Behavior Notes

• Sub-Companies can have their own Sub-Companies, ideal for multi-tiered organizations.
• Each Sub-Company is fully separated in terms of content and users.
• Displays, Schedules, and Presentations are unique per Sub-Company.
• The Parent has full visibility into all Sub-Companies—Sub-Companies cannot access the Parent or other Sub-Companies.
