As an Enterprise or Unlimited subscriber, you can manage licenses for an organization or school district at scale using the “Companies & Licenses” page in your account settings.
Sub-companies with subscriptions of their own are self-managed and must have their subscriptions adjusted to use volume license management. If you need to change a subscription to use this feature, reach out to our Customer Success team.
To access the Companies & Licenses page, click on your username on the top-right and choose “Companies & Licenses” from the menu.
On the Companies & Licenses page, you can see a tree view of the organizational structure of your Rise Vision account on the left. You can expand the branches by clicking on the arrows, and navigate to a sub-company in the tree by clicking on its name.
By default, volume licenses are assigned automatically from your pool of available licenses. To manually assign your Enterprise and Unlimited licenses to sub-companies, click on the “Assign Licenses Manually” toggle at the top of the page. This will change the license type for all eligible sub-companies from “Shared” to a drop-down you can select from.
For each sub-company, you can set the license type and the number of licenses to assign:
- None means no licenses are assigned to this sub-company.
- Per-Display means each Display will take 1 license from the pool of available licenses. You must specify a number of licenses to allocate.
- Unlimited means this sub-company will take 1 license from the pool of available Unlimited licenses. You only need 1 for any number of displays in a sub-company.
- Self-Managed will be shown as the license type if the sub-company has a subscription of its own. If you need to change the license type from Self-Managed, contact our Customer Success team.
As you make changes to your sub-companies’ licenses, the “Total Licenses” breakdown on the right side will update automatically. When you’re done making changes, click “Save” on the bottom-right to apply them.
If the changes you make would result in a subscription change, you will see a notification that an update is required and the “Save” button will change to “Save and Checkout”. Clicking “Save and Checkout” will bring you to a confirmation page where you can confirm the changes and provide a payment method. Changes will be applied automatically after the payment confirmation.
