This article shows you how to enable the Rise Vision screensaver on compatible Windows and Promethean OPS-M devices. When a display goes idle, it will automatically show your Rise Vision content.
Requirements
- You need an Enterprise or Unlimited subscription.
- Rise Player must already be installed on the device.
- You must have the Display Administrator user role to enable/disable this feature.
- This feature only works with:
- Promethean OPS-M interactive flat panels (IFPs).
- Windows devices with an Admin-Privileged installation.
- To confirm whether a Windows installation is Admin-Privileged:
- Go to the display's settings and check the Device Info tab.
- To confirm whether a Windows installation is Admin-Privileged:
Instructions
- Log into your risevision.com account.
- Select Displays from the left navigation bar.
- Click the name of the display you want to update in order to go into its settings.
- Select the Manage tab on the right side.
- Toggle Set as Screensaver on, and choose how long the display should be idle before the screensaver starts.
- Click Save at the top.
- Restart the display to activate the screensaver.
Behavior Notes
- If you turn off the screensaver, you must restart the display for the change to take effect.
- As long as the screensaver option is toggled on within the Rise Vision display settings, all changes made to Windows screensaver settings outside of Rise Vision will be overwritten. To make use of regular Windows screensaver options, disable the screensaver in the Rise Vision display settings
