Is Rise Vision accessible?
Yes. The Rise Vision app is WCAG 2.2 AA compliant. You can review our Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT), which documents exactly how the app conforms, on our security and trust portal. Our templates are built to that same WCAG 2.2 AA standard as part of how we design and maintain them.
We don't treat this as a one-time checkbox. Accessibility checks happen continuously as part of our regular work cycles, and Accessible Web, an independent third-party auditor, routinely reviews the app to confirm we're meeting the standard.
Standard templates
Our standard templates are built to be accessible out of the box. Once you start customizing one — changing colors, fonts, or images — you take on responsibility for keeping it that way. Pay close attention to contrast between text and background, and to text size, since both directly affect how easy your content is to read. Our Digital Signage Best Practices guide walks through these in more detail.
Interactive templates
Our interactive templates are built to WCAG 2.2 AA as well, including contrast and text sizing. ADA accessibility standards also require touch controls to sit within a reach range of 15 to 48 inches above the floor (ADA Standards for Accessible Design, Section 308), so we place every touch point at the bottom of the screen — the position most likely to stay inside that range no matter how you mount your display.
That said, the exact height still depends on your screen size and how you mount it, so it's worth double-checking your reach range once your display is installed.
Report an accessibility issue
Notice something that's not accessible, in the app or a template? Let us know the same way you'd report any other issue: email support@risevision.com, and we'll get it logged and fixed.
If you need to request an accommodation, use the Accessibility link in the footer of risevision.com to reach our accessibility advocate directly.
