Yes, I was able to figure that out. So, I think I get it now.

The schedule is like a single channel (like a single cable tv channel); and all the devices associated with that schedule are like "clones", they simply tuned into that specific schedule and broadcast it out wherever the displays may be. One schedule can have all sorts of programming, and all the devices assigned to that schedule will simply relay the same schedule's programming.

Now, if I want one of the displays to show a different schedule (like changing the channel on a television), then I would simply assign that display to another schedule.

    Pretty slick!  ;-)

    Hi Biagio!

That's a great question! In that case, Presentations A and C will alternate on Monday. Each will play for their duration specified in the Playlist.

What happens when two Presentations in the schedule overlap?

    • Presentation A (plays Monday)
    • Presentation B (plays Tuesday-Sunday)
    • Presentation C (plays Monday)

Will presentations A and C alternate on Monday?

Blake, following-up on your comments... if I chose "Play Until Done", then the presentation would simply play through once until it is finished, and then the next presentation that is scheduled in the same "time slot", would play next (and it would either be timed, or play until done as well, depending on the option selected).

    Biagio,

That is correct. In order for Play Until Done to function correctly, the Presentation that is set to Play Until Done will need some sort of timed content in it. For instance, if you have a Presentation with a Video Widget and set it to Play Until Done, the Video Widget will play all the way through it's video, then move on to the next item in the schedule.

    Hope that helps!
