A Schedule is how you control what content to show, when to show it, and where (e.g., which Displays) it should show on.
Schedule User Interface
- Use Timeline to controls when your content shows
- Use Distribution controls where your content shows
- Use Playlist to control what content to show, and in what order.
Override
Every Display has a default Schedule that defines the normal content to show (your day-to-day programming).
You can use Override to show other content temporarily without modifying your Displays default Schedule, and resume showing normal content when the Timeline of your Override Schedule ends.
There are two Override modes available:
- Include lets you show content in addition to a default Schedule.
- Replace lets you show high priority content that supersedes and supresses the default Schedule.
What Override Mode should I use?
- Use None for default Schedules (day-to-day programming)
- Use Include to show organization wide announcements
- Use Replace to show urgent messages that require immediate visibility
Behavior Notes
- All Schedules, regardless of override mode selected, can be shown on sub-company Displays. Learn how in this article.
- Avoid running multiple override Schedules on the same Displays at the same time to prevent conflicts
- When an Include or Replace window ends, Displays automatically return to show content defined in their assigned Default Schedule.
- The timing for when content shows follows the media player’s local clock; if content timing is off, check the time/time zone settings on your media player.
