Customize Text in a Presentation

To modify text content, font, and style in a Rise Vision template, follow these steps. If desired, you can also choose to use AI assistance for cleaning up text, translating, or spell check.

Requirements

Ensure your user account has the Content Editor role, which is required to edit presentations.

Manually Customize Text

  1. Go to Presentations and select the presentation you want to update
  2. Select the component with the text you want to change 
  3. Use the fields shown to update the text shown in the presentation
  4. Additional fields will be shown that can be used to customize the following options:
    1. Font (including using a custom font)
    2. Text size
    3. Text color
    4. Text formatting (bold, italics, underline)
    5. Text alignment
  5. Click Back and your changes will be saved 
  6. When you’re finished customizing, click Publish in the top-right corner to make your changes live.

Refine Text with AI

  1. Select the text component on the preview area that you want to improve.
  2. Click the Improve with AI button in the component settings or click the contextual AI icon next to the selected text's bounding box.
  3. Select an action chip from the menu to apply a quick edit. Predefined actions include:
    • Shorter: Trims the text to be more concise.
    • Longer: Expands the text with more details.
    • Refine: Polishes the writing while keeping the meaning.
    • Summarize to Bullets: Converts long text into a clean bullet list.
    • Fix Spelling: Quickly checks and corrects any spelling or grammar errors.
    • Translate: Translates your text into Spanish.
  4. Select a Tone option (Friendly, Urgent, Formal, Positive, or Impactful) to instantly adjust the style of your message.

Using custom prompts

  1. Select the text component and click the Improve with AI button.
  2. Type a specific instruction into the input field (e.g., "Translate to French" or "Write a short announcement about the science fair").
  3. Click the arrow button to generate the new text.
  4. Click Back to save your changes, and click Publish in the top-right corner to send the updates to your displays.

  • AI Text Refinement tool utilizes AI credits to perform text adjustments.
