You can enable Single Sign-On (SSO) for Rise Vision using Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) with Microsoft Entra. This setup allows your users to log in with their existing credentials and enables user provisioning for easier management.

Enable SSO in Rise Vision
You must be an administrator to view and edit SSO settings. For more details, see How to enable Single Sign-On for Rise Vision.
- From the Settings Menu in Rise Vision open the SSO Settings tab.
- Enable SAML Single Sign-On (SSO), Require SSO for all users, and Enable SSO User Provisioning, then click Save.
Add Rise Vision to Microsoft Entra
Set up a custom application
- Go to the Microsoft Entra admin center and sign in.
- From the left menu, select Identity > Applications > Enterprise applications.
- Click + New application and then + Create your own application.
- Enter Rise Vision as the application name.
- Select Integrate any other application you don't find in the gallery (non-gallery).
- Click Create.
Configure SAML settings
- Open your new application, then under Manage select Single sign-on.
- Choose SAML and under Basic SAML Configuration click Edit.
- Enter the following:
- Identifier (Entity ID): https://rvaserver2.appspot.com/sso/sp
- Reply URL (Assertion Consumer Service URL): https://rvaserver2.appspot.com/sso/acs
- Click Save.
Provision Users in Microsoft Entra
Once SSO is enabled in Rise Vision, set up user provisioning in Microsoft Entra. This involves creating a custom attribute, mapping user roles, and assigning roles.
Create a custom attribute
- Open your Rise Vision application in Microsoft Entra.
- Go to Manage > Single sign-on.
- On the Attributes & Claims tile, click Edit.
- Click + Add new claim and enter the following attributes:

| user_role | user.jobtitle |
Note: Ensure these attributes are available in your system. If not, choose a different attribute than user.jobtitle.
Click Save.
Set up Roles and invite users

- In Microsoft Entra, go to Identity > Users > All users.
- Select a user and go to Properties.
- Under Job Information, enter the role(s) from the table below exactly as shown (comma-separated if multiple).

Click Save.
Invite Users to Rise Vision
Users will not automatically be associated with any specific sub-company on first logon. They must be manually assigned to their company by following the below process.
- Go to the correct sub-company in Rise Vision.
- From the top-right menu, select Company Users > SSO Settings.
- Copy the link from First time user login instructions.
This link associates the Microsoft Entra user with their Rise Vision sub-company.
