You can use Rise Vision with Apple TV to show hundreds of pre-designed templates. This article explains which features work on Apple TV and how to set up compatible content.
Find Apple TV Compatible Templates
- Go to apps.risevision.com and log in.
- Click Presentations.
- Select + Add Presentation.
- In the filters on the left, turn on Apple TV Compatible.
- Choose a template from the list.
More templates will gain Apple TV compatibility over time—check back regularly for updates.
Unsupported Components
The following components are not supported on Apple TV:
- Playlist
- Weather
- Time
- Date
- YouTube
- Web Page
- HTML Embed
- Google Slides
- PowerPoint
- Google Calendar
- Outlook Calendar
- Power BI
- RSS
- Brand settings
If your Presentation includes any of these components, it will be skipped on Apple TV. Unsupported presentations show a watermark when viewed in your Schedule.
Scheduling Content on Apple TV
Your Apple TV Display follows the same Schedule as other Rise Vision Displays.
- If a presentation isn’t supported, it will be skipped on Apple TV but still play on other Displays.
- Unsupported presentations are labeled with a watermark for easy identification.
When saving a schedule, Apple TV may take up to a few minutes to update if a large amount of content is added.
Additional Apple TV Limitations
Apple TV supports most Rise Vision features, except for the following:
- Transitions between Presentations (fade, zoom, slide, etc.)
- Offline content playback
- Display management (automatic screen on/off)
- Screen sharing
- Live screenshots
- Changing device orientation (portrait/landscape)
- Remote reboot or application restart
- Scheduled daily reboots
- Volume control for alerts
