Use the I Love U Guys Standard Response Protocol (SRP) to show CAP alerts to provide clear, standardized emergency instructions on your displays. This template uses automation to match specific keywords in your alert to the corresponding SRP action, icon, and color scheme.
Requirements
- An active Rise Vision account.
- An integrated CAP Alert provider (such as Alertus, Singlewire InformaCast, or CrisisGo).
- The CAP Alert SRP Protocol template selected within the CAP Alerts
Instructions
- Log in to your Rise Vision dashboard.
- Navigate to CAP Alerts
- Select the CAP Alert SRP Protocol template.
- In your CAP Alert provider's dashboard, compose your alert message.
- Ensure you include one of the following five SRP keywords in the Headline, Description, or Instruction fields:
- Hold
- Shelter
- Evacuate
- Lockdown
- Secure
- When the alert is triggered, the template will automatically detect the keyword and apply the correct SRP icon and background color to your displays.
- Click Publish to ensure the template is ready for your next alert.
