This article shows you how to set up a shared presentation or content item that appears on every display in your network, without replacing each display’s normal schedule. This is done by adding an “Override-Include” type schedule to your displays.
Requirements
- Rise Vision account with an Advanced or Enterprise/Unlimited license subscription.
- One or more Displays configured in your network
Instructions
1. Create the Schedule
- Log in at risevision.com and click on Schedules explore tab.
- Click on + Add Schedule.
- Rename your schedule by clicking on the New Schedule text, adjacent to the three dots (ampersand) button.
2. Configure the Schedule as Override-Include
- Click the Override None dropdown and select Include.
- If the content should only show during specific times, uncheck Show all the time and click on the timeline to set your preferred schedule.
- If the content should only be seen at certain times or certain days, turn the toggle off for Timeline and Show all the time. A blue date & time listing will appear now appear; select that to set when the content should be seen.
- Toggle the Distribution on to show on all displays, or select the blue No Displays Selected to set which displays you want the common content to appear on.
3. Add Content to the Playlist
- Click Add playlist item on the right.
- Select Presentation.
- Choose one or more Presentations to add them to the playlist.
- Reorder items using the
drag handles if needed.
- Click Save when you’re done.
Behavior Notes
Displays will now rotate between their regular scheduled content and the content in the new Override-Include schedule.
