ScreenBeam displays in your classroom, lab or meeting room are perfect for showing announcements, positive messages, and key information when they aren’t being used for collaboration. Using ScreenBeam’s digital signage feature, you can have your TVs in your conference room double as a Rise Vision display.
Step 1: Get your Display ID.
If you haven’t already done so, start by creating a new display in Rise Vision. Once you have given your display a name and clicked save, you will receive a Display ID. Make note of it, you’ll need it in a moment!
Step 2: Enable ScreenBeam digital signage for your display.
Connect to the ScreenBeam access point on your laptop or PC. Open your browser to the URL http://192.168.26.1 to open your ScreenBeam receiver’s Local Management Interface.
Navigate to the Digital Signage tab and select “Enable” for digital signage.
Step 3: Add the Rise Web Player URL.
On the Digital Signage tab, select the display mode, then copy the following URL and paste it into the source URL field:
https://widgets.risevision.com/viewer/?type=webplayer&id=DISPLAYID
Lastly, replace “DISPLAYID” in the URL with the Display ID you received in Step 1. Click “Apply” to save your configuration. Now your ScreenBeam receiver is also a Rise Vision display!
Managing multiple rooms
If you have multiple ScreenBeam receivers which you’d like to use for digital signage, each will need its own Display ID.
