This article explains how to install and activate Rise Vision on Apple TV. You can set it up in Single App Mode for digital signage use only, or as a regular app if you want to use other Apple TV apps.
Requirements
- Apple TV HD (4th generation or later)
- Apple TV 4K (1st generation or later)
- Apple TV 4K with Ethernet (required for Single App Mode)
- Network access that meets Rise Vision network requirements
Instructions
Option 1: Set Up Rise Player in Single App Mode
Use this option if you want your Apple TV to run only Rise Player. This setup requires erasing and configuring the device with Apple Configurator.
- Follow Apple’s instructions to prepare your Apple TV with Apple Configurator.
- Pair the remote by tapping on it.
- Connect the Apple TV to the Internet.
- Sign in with your Apple ID.
- Open the App Store and search for “Rise Vision.”
- Select Rise Vision and choose Install.
- Enable Single App Mode by following Apple’s guide, then select Rise Vision as the app.
- Activate your Display:
- Go to risevision.com/activate.
- Log in with your Rise Vision account.
- Name your Display and enter the activation code shown on the Apple TV screen.
- Select Save.
- Your Display is now ready to be assigned content.
Option 2: Set Up Rise Player as a Regular App
Use this option if you want to keep using other Apple TV apps and manually launch Rise Player when needed.
- Open the App Store on your Apple TV.
- Search for “Rise Vision.”
- Select Rise Vision and choose Install.
- Activate your Display:
- Go to risevision.com/activate.
- Log in with your Rise Vision account.
- Name your Display and enter the activation code shown on the Apple TV screen.
- Select Save.
- Your Display is now ready to be assigned content.
