Zoom Room displays in your classroom, lab or meeting room are perfect for showing announcements, positive messages, and key information when they aren’t being used for video conferencing. Using Zoom Room’s digital signage feature, you can have your TVs in your conference room double as a Rise Vision display.
Step 1: Get your Display ID.
If you haven’t already done so, start by creating a new display in Rise Vision. Once you have given your display a name and clicked save, you will receive a Display ID. Make note of it, you’ll need it in a moment!
Step 2: Enable Zoom Room digital signage for your display.
Log in to your Zoom account, then in the navigation menu go to Room Management > Zoom Rooms.
In Zoom’s room hierarchy, find the room you would like to use for your display and click “Edit” next to the room name.
Click on the “Digital Signage” tab, and set the digital signage toggle to “On” if it isn’t already.
Step 3: Add the Rise Web Player URL to the content list.
From your Zoom Room’s digital signage tab, scroll to “Content List” and click “Add Content”. Click on the “URL” tab, and then paste this into the URL field:
https://widgets.risevision.com/viewer/?type=webplayer&id=DISPLAYID
Lastly, replace “DISPLAYID” in the URL with the Display ID you received in Step 1. When you’re done, click on “Add Item” and then “Save”. Now your Zoom Room display is also a Rise Vision display!
Managing multiple rooms
If you have multiple zoom rooms which you’d like to use for digital signage, each will need its own Display ID.
