This article explains how to update the firmware on your LG Display using a firmware file uploaded to Rise Storage. Updating firmware ensures your display runs the latest version for optimal performance and compatibility.
Instructions
- Upload the firmware file to your Rise Storage account.

Copy the link to the uploaded firmware file.
- Go to the Displays page in Rise Vision.
- Find the LG Display you want to update.
- Click the three horizontal dots to the right of the display name.
- Select Update Firmware from the menu.
- Paste the link to the firmware file in Rise Storage when prompted.
- Select Update Firmware
Behavior Notes
- You can send firmware updates to more than one LG display at a time using bulk actions. See Manage Displays in Bulk for instructions.
- Firmware updates only support files hosted on Rise Storage. Files from other locations are not supported.
- Do not disconnect power or internet during the firmware update process.
- The display may restart automatically once the update is complete.
- If the update fails, verify the firmware file link is correct and accessible.
