Display Monitoring lets you track the connection status of your Displays and receive email notifications if they go offline or come back online keeping you informed so you can take action when a Display goes offline.
Instructions
- Go to Displays from the left navigation.
- Select the Display you want to monitor.
- Select the Manage option on the right-hand menu.
- Toggle Monitor Activity on.
- Use the Timeline to set when monitoring should be active.
- In the Email Recipients field, enter one or more email addresses separated by commas.
Behavior Notes
- Display Monitoring continuously checks the connection status of your Display (Online, Offline, or Standby).
- Standby Displays are treated the same as Online for monitoring purposes. They remain connected and will not trigger offline alerts.
- If the Display is Offline for 15 minutes, an email notification is sent.
- Once the Display is back Online (or in Standby) for 15 minutes, a follow-up notification is sent.
- If your media device reboots nightly, you’ll only receive an Offline alert if the Display fails to reconnect after restarting.
- Email notifications come from
mg.risevision.com. Ensure this domain isn’t blocked or filtered if you’re not receiving alerts.
