The Alert Volume Control feature lets you set a default sound level for CAP Alerts and Schedule Override Replace content. This helps you manage how loud emergency or override replace messages play on your LG screens.
Requirements
- This feature is supported in the following environments:
- Rise Player on an external media player running Chrome OS
- Rise Player on LG WebOS
- If you are using an external media player, an RS232 connection from the media player to the LG screen is required.
Instructions
- Go to your Displays list.
- Select the Display you want to configure.
- Click the Manage tab on the right side of the page
- Select the Alert Volume Control toggle to enable the feature
- Use the volume slider or input field to set your preferred alert volume level.
- Click Save to apply your changes.
Behavior Notes
- This feature is currently supported only on Rise Player for Chrome OS and LG webOS.
- Alert volume affects both CAP Alerts and Override Replace content types.
- Volume levels are stored per Display and must be configured individually for each one.
- You can manage volume on more than one LG display at a time using bulk actions. See Manage Displays in Bulk for instructions.
