Use this guide to update your R-Series display software using a ZIP file on a USB drive. This method allows you to manually install the latest firmware on your display.
Firmware Downloads
Before You Begin
- Download the correct firmware file for your R-Series display.
- Use a USB thumb drive that is empty and properly formatted.
Instructions
- Download the firmware file that corresponds to your screen size
- Copy update.zip to the root directory of the USB thumb drive.
- Safely eject the USB thumb drive from your computer.
- Insert the USB thumb drive into the Blue OTG USB port on the R-Series display.
- Follow the instructions displayed on the screen and choose Upgrade
- Wait until the system displays a message confirming the upgrade is complete. Your device may reboot once the upgrade is complete.
- Remove the USB thumb drive after the upgrade is complete.
Behavior Notes
- If additional pop-up windows attempt to restart the upgrade after it has already started or completed, ignore them.
- Do not remove the USB drive until the system confirms the upgrade is complete.
