Yes, you can transfer or move an existing license to a new device. To do this, you’ll first remove the Displays you no longer need, then set up your new devices to use those licenses.
How to transfer a display license
- Install Rise Player on the new media player
- When you launch Rise Player an five digit activation code will be provided, similar to what is shown in the screenshot below.
- Log in at risevision.com and click Displays
- Delete the Display that is no longer in use. This will free up the licenses.
- Click Add Display and follow the prompts to set up your new devices. The freed-up licenses will be applied automatically.
When activating a replacement device in Rise Vision, you can use the 'Activate with Display ID' option to associate the new device with the existing display, preserving schedules and settings.
